Rules & Guidelines Yogajeevan
  • Anybody below age of 15 years will not be accepted in any program.
  • You need to pay half of the fee during online registration and rest should be paid after arrival while filling up the registration form.
  • Fees once paid will not be refunded even in unavoidable circumstances.
  • You have to book your seat at least 15 days before commencement of the program.
  • Foreign students should bring their original passport with a valid Indian visa which covers duration of their stay and Indian students need to bring a valid ID proof with themselves.
  • You need to submit one photocopy of your passport/ID proof as well as one passport size photographed upon arrival.
  • Once entered you will not be allowed to leave the retreat and move on your own except in case of emergency.
  • You are not allowed to bring outside food, cigarettes, alcohols and drugs in the retreat.
  • Students are encouraged to practice patience, humility and simplicity in the retreat.
  • Students are required to dress modestly and should avoid revealing, form-fitting and transparent clothes.
  • People of opposite genders are required to maintain a respectful distance from each-other.
  • You have to take permission before taking photographs and recording audio or video during the class.
  • You have to take responsibility of your valuable belongings on your own.
  • You need to follow the time-table of the retreat and you have to punctually attend every yoga session.
  • You should be respectful to the yoga teachers and should follow their every instruction attentively.
  • You should be careful while performing yogic poses because Jeevan Yoga will not be responsible for any injury during or after your stay.
Advice for People Attending Kantal and Chopta Retreat
  • Only people who are in perfect health condition are eligible for both of the Himalayan retreats.
  • You should pay a visit to your doctor to ensure you are fit for trekking.
  • You should carry your prescribed medicines and first-aid box with you.
  • Take the things slowly and try to adjust to the high altitude. You may have motion sickness or altitude sickness so prepare for it in advance. In case of discomfort inform your instructors.
  • You will be travelling in eco friendly zone so carry you trash with you and dispose it only at adequate places.
  • Do not wander on your own and always follow your teachers and instructors.
  • At high altitudes the temperature is likely to fluctuate a lot so bring many clothes for different weather conditions.
  • Make sure to wear the sunglasses to protect your eyes and sunscreen to protect your skin. At high altitude the sun rays can make you uncomfortable and you may get sunburn.
  • Pay special attention to your footwear. Make sure they are sturdy and are not new.
